While you’re checking that your content flows smoothly and includes keywords, remember to check the amount of content you have on each page. Do you have at least 250 words of content on every page? If you’re not sure how many words that is, it’s about as many as you see on one page of an average paperback novel.

You should have at least this amount, but don't over elaborate. Remember the more text you have the more danger there is of diluting the impact of your keyword density. Remember sometimes less is more.

On your website you are trying to persuade your visitor to carry out a particular action. To do this they need to be persuaded and any way that you can ensure they feel safe and convinced to take this action the more likely they are to actually do it.

One way is to use "Times Courier New" font which looks very similar to an old style typwriter font? Try using the "Times Courier New" font on your testimonials to make then look like type-written messages. It may make the difference between a visitor statistic and a customer.

One way of catching peoples attention and breaking up text is to use"numbers" at some point in your title where a selection is involved.

Some people seem to like the idea that they a selection to choose from.

Example:

Wood flooring - Over 40 different wood styles just arrived! Fairy Pancake books - 12 new books just released!

Some people will respond to numbered titles. Be creative - can you put a testimonal or a benefit in the tittle?

Example:

Free spyware download from Virus Termination Co.

Improve your football skills with FA coaching DVD

Think around new ways to attract your website visitors.

In all of our efforts to write well for the robots, we must remember to also write well for the human brain. Remember that the human brain likes the appropriate use of color. The human brain likes text broken down into manageable chunks or clusters that are easy to read and absorb. Write your copy using all of the important SEO principles but be sure to strike a balance.

Remember, don't ever create a page just for the search engines. The search engines aren't and probably won't ever be your customers. Keep your true customers in mind, and give THEM true value throughout your site and in your content.

Make the most of your title and description as they act as advertisements for your web site. As a result even if you are lower in the rankings of a page a captivating title and description tags may result in you receiving just as many click throughs as the results higher up the page - who have put little thought in to their own titles and descriptions

Try to have an open mind and really think about who is your actual target audience. You often may not give all future potential prospects your fullest possible visibility because of the very narrow focus that your recent customer experiences may tend to sometime limit you to.

Now think about this for just a minute or two. Do you only just have one specific audience? There may be some who feel they have a product that only services one audience. In fact I know some who may be convinced of it. But with a little brainstorming and research, you can explore and find entirely new audiences that need your product or services.

There are new audiences out there right now that are searching for your product, solutions or information, but the only trouble is, you may not be making it too easy for them to find you because the focus of your Web content. Simply put, it may be too narrow. Are you looking for Web visibility amongst newer and bigger audiences? Sometimes all it takes is a mild change in the focus of your content.
